About

Country Thunder is North America's largest multi-location country music festival series, tracing its roots to a 1993 Arizona event originally called Country Jam that was rebranded Country Thunder in 1996. The flagship Wisconsin edition launched that same year at a sprawling 400-acre site in Twin Lakes and now anchors the brand's summer calendar each July, drawing massive camping crowds from Chicago and Milwaukee. The company has since expanded to Florence, Arizona (April), Craven, Saskatchewan (July), Calgary, Alberta (August), and Kissimmee, Florida (November), running on a four-day format with primary and secondary stages. Country Thunder is known less for a single signature venue than for its immersive campground culture — themed RV villages, all-day tailgating, and a fiercely loyal returning fanbase. Past Wisconsin headliners include Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Morgan Wallen, and Zac Brown Band.
