Provinssi (formerly Provinssirock) is one of Finland's oldest and largest music festivals, held annually in Seinäjoki in the Ostrobothnia region. Founded in 1979, the three-day festival draws around 30,000 attendees with a broad lineup covering rock, pop, hip-hop, and electronic music. Provinssi is known for its welcoming atmosphere, strong Finnish artist representation, and the unique setting of the Törnävä open-air area beside the Seinäjoki river. It is considered one of Finland's essential summer festival experiences.
