Hurricane Festival is one of Germany's biggest rock and alternative music festivals, held in Scheeßel, Lower Saxony. It runs simultaneously with Southside Festival — the two share the same lineup with artists alternating between sites. Founded in 1997, Hurricane draws around 80,000 fans over three days for a lineup spanning rock, indie, punk, hip-hop, and electronic music. Past headliners include The Cure, Depeche Mode, Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, and Green Day. The festival is part of the FKP Scorpio group and is a cornerstone of the German summer festival circuit.
