Terms of Service
Last updated: April 12, 2026
The basics
By accessing or using festivism (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use community features.
Your account
You are responsible for all activity under your account. You may not share accounts or create multiple accounts. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit to festivism (threads, replies, reviews). By posting content, you grant festivism a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and reproduce your content in connection with the Service.
You may delete your content at any time, which revokes this license for that content. You are solely responsible for content you post.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post spam or unsolicited promotions.
- Harass, bully, or threaten other users.
- Post illegal content or facilitate illegal activity.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
- Scrape, crawl, or automatically access the Service without permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts.
- Post content that infringes intellectual property rights.
- Engage in ticket scams or unofficial resales.
Festival data
Festival information on festivism is sourced from publicly available data and user contributions. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that festival dates, lineups, pricing, or other details are current or correct. Always verify with official festival sources before making travel or purchasing decisions.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions regarding content licenses, liability limitations, and governing law survive termination.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Festivism shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: inaccurate festival information, financial losses from ticket purchases, travel decisions made based on information from the Service, or user-generated content posted by other users.
Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal resolution.
